Overbed Table

Overbed Tables are portable, height-adjustable tables that are designed so that the table-top can be placed over a bed for use by a person laying down in the bed. Overbed tables are commonly used in nursing homes, hospitals and in-home situations in which a person is confined to a bed for long periods of time.

Overbed tables are generally mounted on a rolling base which slides underneath the bed, and an adjustable-height stand which connects the table-top to the base. The wheels on the base make it easy to move the table into position.

The Auto-Touch Overbed Table by Invacare offers an easy height-adjustment for comfort while reading, writing or eating. The table itself is made of an attractive, walnut wood-grained laminate top with a T-molded edge designed to be resistant to scratches, scrapes and other damage. Heavy-gauge chrome-plated, tubular, welded steel construction is extremely durable. 1.5" casters ensure smooth mobility in any direction, making it easy to roll the table into place, and remove it when not in use.  Patented spring-loaded locking handle allows for easy height-adjustment to the desired level.

The Auto-Touch Overbed Table weighs a total of 27 pounds, and can safely support weights of up to 25 pounds.
