Lateral Knee Stabilizer with "J" Shaped Buttress

The Lateral Knee Stabilizer Knee Brace with "J" Shaped Buttress provides excellent side-to-side support of the knee and stabilization of the kneecap. The tubular "J" shaped buttress maintains proper alignment of the patella and provides lateral side support and stabilization. Flexible spiral stays provide medial and lateral stability while maintaining full range of motion. Constructed of sports neoprene with a soft long-loop nylon lining for therapeutic and soothing warmth. The adjustable support straps provide an adjustable amount of compression and increased stability. A seamless feel in a tapered sleeve, slip-on style. Specify right or left. Color: Black.

To Determine Size: Measure four inches above the center of the kneecap.

Knee Stabilizer Construction:

Application Instructions:  Insert foot into support and slide up over the knee with the “J” shaped buttress positioned directly lateral (outside) and inferior to (under) the patella. Pull and stretch the thigh strap and calf strap and secure to loop patch.

Wearing Protocol:

• Knee supports should typically be worn against the skin under loose fitting clothing.
• Supports should be removed and applied periodically and the skin checked to ensure no heat rash or sensitivity is developing.
• Carefully apply the Velcro closures –the plastic “hook” portion can catch and snag fine fabrics.
• Contact with neoprene may cause a skin reaction.
• Persons with a known susceptibility to dermatitis or with broken skin should avoid contact with neoprene.
• Anyone developing a skin irritation from contact with neoprene should discontinue product use immediately and contact a physician.
• Neoprene products should not be worn by persons with phlebitis or circulatory disorders.
• Do not sleep in the support.
• If prescribed by a medical professional, wear as instructed.
• Support can be worn during normal activities.
• Wash per care instructions as needed.
• Hand wash in warm water and mild soap. Air dry. Do not machine wash or dry. Ensure completely dry before reapplying.
